Upload sales invoices and supplier invoices — typed or scanned. Each is read entirely inside your own browser: nothing is uploaded to us or to any server. We pull the invoice date, invoice number, party name and total; where the invoice prints its own VAT amount we use that figure directly, and cross-check it against 15% of the total so a misread number gets flagged rather than silently exported. Because invoice layouts vary far more than bank statements, please check the extracted rows before you export — anything missing, mismatched, or that looks like a duplicate upload is flagged for you.

The Excel file matches the standard VAT schedule layout — Output VAT and Input VAT side by side, with live formulas for VAT and totals, correct date and currency formatting, and the same column layout as the template. Note: the free Excel library this tool uses can't carry over cell colours or bold header shading, so the file arrives unstyled — the numbers, formulas and layout are exactly right, and colour is two clicks away if you want it. More than 20 invoices on either side spill onto an additional "VAT period" sheet, just like the template.
